Call for Project Ideas

CityNet is calling for proposals from its cluster members.

In his notice to members, Secretary-General Vijay Jagannathan said CityNet clusters have been instrumental in decentralizing the work of CityNet and in helping CityNet achieve its long-term objectives. ‘It is our pleasure to keep supporting our cluster’s initiatives by announcing the 2017-2018 Cluster Call for Proposal. For this year, we are reconfiguring our cluster support mechanism into a grant program’, he added.

One project will be selected out from the total number of proposals to be received. Up to 15,000 USD will be granted to the selected proposal for a 12-month period to be implemented starting September 2017.

Project proposal must include joint activities with CityNet cluster members.

Currently, CityNet has four clusters – Climate Change, Disaster, Infrastructure, and Sustainable Development Goals. Each cluster has its Lead and Co-Lead cities.

See attached documents for complete guidelines and proposal format. Deadline for submission is on July 28, 2017, Friday.
