Participate in the pre-Climate Leadership Program (CLP) Workshop Phase III

CityNet invites you to participate in the pre-Climate Leadership Program (CLP) Phase III jointly organized by CityNet and Jakarta Research Council from 19-22 August 2019 hosted by the Jakarta Capital City Government, as a continuation of the previous CLP1 and CLP2 Workshop carried out in 2017 and 2018 respectively in Jakarta.

The objective of this pre-CLP III workshop aims to increase capacity and introduction in terms of GHG inventory and monitoring as a basis for making action plans Climate change for each city and sector and also how we support the cities in the development of Climate Action Plan and emissions reductions targets. This training is intended to explore various strategies and actions (case studies) to reduce GHG in urban areas and study the methodology for calculating greenhouse gas emissions inventory using the IPCC 2006 method and other possible methodologies. The benefit is to develop innovation strategies in each city in combatting the effects of climate change.

Location: Jakarta City Hall

How to participate: Please complete the attached Form of Application and submit it to CityNet at programs2@citynet-ap.org and esa_tobing@yahoo.com no later than 12 July 2019. To ensure an effective workshop, selection process may apply.

Sponsorship: Participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.

The CLP III workshop will follow later this year from 25-28 November, with an invitation and further information to be circulated once it becomes available. Please consult the attached Information Pack for more information.
