Call for Participants for online sessions on Urban Eco-Solutions

CityNet Secretariat is inviting city government officials to online sessions on the localization of urban eco-solutions on May 10, 2021, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM (KST). The session will include two case study presentations by Korean urban eco-solutions providers. One of the case studies will be about non-fired bricks solution, an innovative method of producing bricks using soil stabilizer, cement and soil, speeding up production time and without the need of combustion of fossil fuel. The other case study will be on IoT water sensors.

The session will also include an interactive exercise with participants with CityNet’s Toolkit on Localization of Urban Practices to facilitate and help participants assess if these urban case studies can be localized and implemented in their own city. City officials who are interested in climate actions for reducing cities environmental and innovative products and processes that reduce environmental impacts are encouraged to participate.

Applications will be screened, and successful applicants will be asked to commit up to two hours on the designated time and dates. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to those who will complete and fulfill the requirements of the consultation session.
