The Megacity Think Tank Alliance Inaugural Forum

MeTTA
Think tanks from Beijing, Shanghai, Hanoi, Singapore and Seoul that are part of the Megacity Think Tank Alliance, MeTTA, gathered in Seoul for the inaugural forum on July 11th. The five megacities launched MeTTA to provide solutions to several risks that megacities face and to improve the quality of life of their citizens.

The forum, focusing on “Beyond Risk towards Safe Cities”, was organized by the Seoul Institute which also holds this year’s presidency.

CityNet Assistant Secretary General Yeonsik Yoo was honoured to be a discussion panelist to share CityNet’s point of view about the risks in Asian Megacities and the role of think tanks.
