2017 Seoul Waterworks Workshop for Vietnamese Cities

15 city officials from Vietnamese cities participated in the 2017 Seoul Waterworks workshop from April 23-29. The workshop was organized by the Office of waterworks Seoul Metropolitan Government and CityNet Secretariat and marked the official start of the 2017 Seoul Waterworks Workshop.

 

By reflecting the cities’ interests and challenges on waterworks, the workshop provided the lectures and study visits related with waterworks issues such as water supply and quality management and integrated water information systems.

 

Through the City Report, SWOT and PDM (Project Development Matrix) analysis, city officials from Hue, Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Hai Duong, Nihn Binh, and Tam Diep shared their cities current challenges and designed future policy plan based on the lessons from the workshop. CityNet Secretariat, experts from related institute, government officers and private sectors shared the idea and suggestions for each cities and are expecting continuous cooperation.

 

This year, the workshop has three targeted participant groups, Vietnamese, Chinese and SMG (Seoul Metropolitan Government) partner cities.
