Call for Host City of CityNet ExCom Meeting

CityNet Secretariat is encouraging its members to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to bid for the hosting of the 2018 and 2019 CityNet Executive Committee Meetings.

Secretary-General Vijay Jagannathan said hosting ExCom meeting is a privileged opportunity to highlight the city’s cultural and historical heritage and best practices to international colleagues.

Around 50-70 CityNet members attend the annual ExCom meeting. The participants include mayors and local authorities from the members of the Executive Committee, National Chapters, and the Clusters. They also include observers and resource speakers from CityNet’s international partners and the Secretariat as well.

The Executive Committee is the highest policy decision making body of CityNet.

CityNet will hold its 35th and 36th ExCom Meetings in Colombo in conjunction with the 8th General Council on November 5-8, 2017

Interested cities and organizations can fill up the Expression of Interest (EOI) below. Please read the Guidelines to give you other details for consideration. Note that the EOI form will be subject to further review as we will select the most suitable applications.

Deadline for the submission of EOI is on October 6, 2017. If you have urgent queries, please email programs2@citynet-ap.org
