Call for Host City of CityNet Executive Committee Meeting 2020

CityNet Secretariat is encouraging its members to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to bid for the hosting of the 2020 CityNet Executive Committee Meetings.

Hosting ExCom meeting is a privileged opportunity to highlight the city’s cultural and historical heritage and best practices to international colleagues. In addition, the host city will have the opportunities to build capacity in the urban development by connecting city officials with experts and organizations from the Asia Pacific and the other regions.

The Executive Committee is the highest policy decision making body of CityNet that convenes every year back-to-back with an international seminar or workshop on sustainable urban planning. Around 50-150 CityNet members and partner institutions are expected to attend the annual ExCom meeting that include mayors, local government officials, experts, and practitioners on urban development.

Interested cities and organizations can fill up the Expression of Interest (EOI) below. Please read the Guidelines to give you other details for consideration. Note that the EOI form will be subject to further review as we will select the most suitable applications.

Deadline for the submission of EOI is on August 30, 2019. If you have urgent queries, please email media@citynet-ap.org.
