CityApp winner goes Global

WCS Day 2-290

After two months of incubation period at the Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal (MIC), CityApp winner, Team Yorbit, showcased their app, Trackmandu, to a global audience. They presented their innovative custom vehicle tracking system app at CityNet Pavilion during World Cities Summit in Singapore, June 2014. CityNet Secretary General, Vijay Jagannathan joined the team to congratulate their success. The app that tracks traffic flows throughout a crowded city is not only applicable in Kathmandu, but can also be useful for other cities. See the Video.
