CityNet visits Lalitpur in preparation of the 38th ExCom Meeting

In preparation of the 38th Executive Committee (ExCom) Meeting and International Seminar, the delegation from CityNet consisting of the CityNet Yokohama Project Office Director of Programs Kendra Hirata, CityNet Program Manager Paulo Mora, CityNet Program Officer Rina Hwang visited Lalitpur, Nepal, from 29 July to 3 August to ensure the smooth execution of this annual legislative meeting on 6-8 November.

CityNet Secretariat has been working very closely with Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC). This pre-inspection visit includes ocular venue inspection, logistic preparation, and meeting with focal points from LMC to ensure the readiness of local committee in welcoming CityNet members to the ExCom Meeting. The LMC offered their full support for the ExCom Meeting and International Seminar during the meeting.

The CityNet ExCom Meeting will be held at the Himalaya Hotel and will consist of legislative meeting, International Seminar on “Heritage and Sustainable Tourism” conducted by distinguished CityNet partners, and site visits.
