General Call for Participants for APCICT Module Review

CityNet and the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development/United Nations ESCAP are calling local experts on disaster risk management to be part in the Consultation Review on the Academy Module on ICT for Disaster Risk Management on February 3, 2021, Wednesday, 4:00- 5:30 p.m., Seoul time.

The consultation review is open to city officials from departments that are responsible for disaster management, urban planning, and other concerned agencies. However, interested partners need to register through http://bit.ly/CityNetICTModuleReview.

A copy of the module is available for http://bit.ly/AcademyModuleonICT.

Prospective participants are encouraged to read the module.

Registered participants will automatically be eligible to participate in the week-long training on ICT for Disaster Risk Management in April 2021.

Deadline for registration is on February 1, 2021.

CityNet and APCICT underscore the critical roles of city governments in managing in reducing disaster risks, protecting their citizens, and achieving community resilience. The Academy Module on ICT for Disaster Risk Management is offering tools and skills in integrating and utilizing ICT in disaster risk management work.
