Iloilo City ExCom Team and CityNet Secretariat Pave the Way for 44th ExCom Meeting

On May 9, 2024, the Executive Committee (ExCom) team from Iloilo City visited CityNet Secretariat in Seoul, South Korea to discuss the details of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The meeting followed CityNet Secretariat’s on-site visit to Iloilo City on February 26-28, which marked the beginning of preparations for the 44th ExCom meeting. The ExCom team met with CityNet CEO Jeong-kee Kim, during which they introduced their various investment sectors.

The meeting aimed to finalize the details of the MoU for the 44th CityNet ExCom meeting, which will be hosted by Iloilo City.

The 44th ExCom meeting will take place in Iloilo City, Philippines, from November 18-20, 2024. This year’s event will include the 44th CityNet Executive Committee meeting, the 3rd SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) City Awards Session, and international seminars. The 3rd SDG City Awards Session will feature cities sharing valuable insights on best practices for the SDGs. The international seminars will facilitate meaningful knowledge exchanges on urban resolutions for sustainable development.

Moving forward, CityNet Secretariat and Iloilo City will have a MoU signing ceremony in the near future and hold regular meetings to ensure smooth preparations for the ExCom meeting.
